I finally have some time to focus on hobby projects and of course that means using Axon ![]()
I have some questions about the “PRO” tier on the pricing page:
- Connected Apps = 10
- What if there are lots of lambdas which run for say 5 mins max each? Is each an “app” if they are all contained in the same Spring Boot JAR?
- Storage + Messaging: 1 Node
- How much storage is included here (in GiB)?
- Are messages encrypted? What about key management?
- Is this 1 node in a cluster shared by others?
- Is there tiered storage optionality here?
- Is this 24/7? For my needs I may only need it on for 12 hours a day (and off at night or other non-busy periods). Is that possible?
- Which region is this cluster deployed in?
- Do I connect over the internet or is there some type of VPC peering which can be achieved (assuming AWS)?
- Which version of Axon Server is it?
- What if I just want the message routing functionality and want to store events in Postgres - is there an option for that?
- Is there an equivalent “developer friendly” license I can buy where I manage the deployment (a dev “on-prem”)?
Sorry if these questions are answered somewhere else I couldn’t find an FAQ page or similar.
