Although I understand this is undesirable, this is how Axon clients which do not handle any message currently work. It is essentially an optimization.
The Axon application does not have to make a connection with Axon Server if it doesn’t have to send out any message, right?
So, don’t create the connection, saving some work on the matter.
This is currently as designed, so not that much you can do about it sadly.
